I just received a flyer for an Agent’s open house this Tuesday for a property in the Reserve located at 1072 Silent Ridge Court.  It will be listed for $2,750,000.

It was not in the MLS system this morning, so I will update this post with a link to this listing and photos once it is entered into the system.

While going through papers in my office, I found this Miller & Smith brochure for the Reserve from the Old Days (when Miller & Smith was still selling lots to builders).

The status of 7815 Twincrest was updated in the MLS system on 4/3/10 and now shows that it is scheduled to settle on 4/23/10.  Once it settles, I will post the sales price.

Recent Sales in 22102 Since 3/29/10

Recent Sales in 22102 Since 3/29/10

I posted information about recently sold properties in the 22102 area of McLean, Virginia on my other blog (http://mcleanrealestatenews.com).  Below is a link to that blog post:

However, none of the properties which sold are comparable to properties in the Reserve in McLean.  Of the 9 properties that sold in that time period, none sold for $1,000,000 or over.  This highest sales price was $992,500 for 7805 Horatio Street which is located in the McLean Hamlet subdivision (off of Lewinsville Rd).  The second highest sales price was $870,000 for 8456 Clover Leaf Dr in McLean Estates (which is also off of Lewinsville, past Spring Hill Rd as you go towards Route 7).

The property located at 7815 Twincrest Ct in the Reserve went under contract on 3/29/10 after 286 days on the market.  It is a Gulick built Wentworth model and was being sold with all the furnishings.  It was listed on 6/17/09 at $3,495,000.  The last contingency expires on 4/8/10.

Tania and her husband Jim purchased their lot in Section 1 of the Reserve in June of 1999 and built their home in the following 18 months. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Mary Washington College and an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University. Tania began her real estate career over 20 years ago. In addition to real estate sales, her experience includes managing residential renovation projects in the greater Washington area, planning and overseeing new residential construction and managing rental properties. After completing her MBA in 1996, she joined CIG International (a Washington-based residential real estate investment firm) as Vice President where she conducted extensive due diligence investigations of real estate investment opportunities and oversaw ongoing investment projects. Tania became a residential real estate agent in 2006.
